Big
green help
To help more kids better understand global warming, the Pew Center recently
collaborated with Nickelodeon to research kids' and parents' attitudes
and behaviors toward the environment. Nickelodeon is using the information
for an interactive campaign called The Big Green Help.

Climate change kids page (EPA)
The Student's guide to global climate change focuses on the science and
impacts of global warming or climate change, and on actions that help
address climate change issues. Designed as a resource for both kids and
educators the site features games, events and links to other relevant
sites.

Research Program)
This free tool helps teachers tell their students about individual climates
and how they are affected by global warming.

Specifically for kids, this site focuses on global climate change issues
featuring games, questions and stories. It also answers a few of the basic
introductory climate change definition questions.

Features stories about the rapidly changing climate. The collection of
multimedia includes ten videos and two interactive resources along with
background essays and teaching tips.

climate change: research explorer
This site is a window into the world of scientific research on climate
change. Learn about physical processes underlying the earth's climate,
data on how the climate is changing and the role of human activity, and
questions and uncertainties that researchers continue to explore. The
site is organized in five parts: the atmosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere,
biosphere and global effects.

This site can answer many questions about global warming, including: What
is the greenhouse effect, and is it affecting our climate? Are greenhouse
gases increasing? Is the climate warming? Is the atmospheric/oceanic circulation
changing? Is the climate becoming more variable or extreme? How important
are these changes in a longer-term context?

Check out these great photos that can be used for class activities. Photographer
Gary Braasch visually documents climate change from the Arctic to Antarctica,
